Portfolio of Works

In the fall of 2024 I went to Iceland with two dear artist friends with the intention of seeing as much of Iceland as we could during our eighteen day stay. We covered quite a bit of ground and I returned with over two thousand photos! I have much to paint from that trip.  Some of the paintings will call attention to climate change which we could see (and hear) while in the country. 

In late April and May of this year, 2023, I was fortunate to travel to Cape Town and the Cape Winelands for the trip of a lifetime. Some of my friends and I toured the Cape Town area and traveled to Cape Agulhas which is the southernmost tip of South Africa. The landscape was stunning. We then traveled to Stellenbosch where we began a 10-day painting workshop with Workshops in SA and instructor, Anna Rose Bain. We were hugged by elephants, painted nearly every day and went on five safaris in three different game reserves. I didn't want to leave and would love to go back someday!
